Responsive Participant Center
Kennedy Krieger’s mission is “to transform the lives of children with disorders of the brain through groundbreaking research, innovative treatments, and life-changing education.” Charity Dynamics helped realize this mission by implementing a responsive Participant Center that Kennedy Krieger piloted with the Baltimore Running Festival, a signature fundraising event that raised over $125,000 in unrestricted funds for Kennedy Krieger.

Challenge
- Enhance the fundraising user experience for the Baltimore Running Festival Event
- Better serve constituents using a mobile device to fundraise on behalf of Kennedy Krieger
- Balance the investment in website enhancement with potential for improved fundraising – as a supplemental event to Kennedy Krieger’s overall event fundraising strategy, significant investment in custom development could not be justified
Approach
- Utilize CD Labs Turn-Key Responsive PC
- Implementation within two weeks to immediately improve fundraising experience and outcomes
- Matches event and organizational branding while utilizing proven enhancements to usability and functionality
Outcome
- Increase in emails sent per participant from 6.3 to 7.3 year over year
- Increase of more than 30% total fundraising from confirmed donations per participant
- Average fundraising goal per participant increased by $33
