Dayton Children’s Hospital has successful major gift and direct mail fundraising but lagged in online efforts. They knew they needed to invest in building their online program but were unsure how to best prioritize their activities and investment to set themselves up for success.
Approach
- Interviewed key staff in fundraising and marketing to understand their current audience and digital efforts.
- Analyzed current online and offline performance and compared the organization’s results to industry benchmarks, both overall and in the healthcare market.
- Provided a detailed recommendations report assessing the organization’s readiness in digital acquisition, cultivation, and technology platforms to support both annual giving and peer-to-peer fundraising.
Outcome
Charity Dynamics provided Dayton Children’s Hospital with a three-year digital capacity building roadmap customized for their needs, allowing the organization to identify quick wins that could be easily implemented as they made longer-term strategic investments to grow their online fundraising.
