All of Charity Dynamics retained services clients get weekly status updates that allow us to keep track of all the various initiatives our teams are collaborating on.
Each week, we share the most innovative ideas we see and look for ways to keep our clients on the cutting edge. Here are three of our favorite ideas from March:
1) Integrate Blackbaud Functionality into Facebook
You spend time curating and creating great content for your organization’s Facebook page — but are you doing all you can to turn Facebook followers into volunteers and donors? Leverage your social media engagement by integrating Blackbaud functionality into Facebook. Embed a survey asking followers to sign up for an eNewsletter or sign a petition, or create a “Donate” tab with an embedded donation form right on your Facebook page.
Check out the examples below –

2) Responsive Retrofit – A Phased Approach
A full website redesign and development to make it mobile responsive can really pay off, but it takes time and budget to do it right. So what can you do now to make an impact in mobile? Consider retro-fitting your current site to be responsive using the existing design. Some organizations have had success doing this in phases by tackling donation and registration flows first, then expanding responsive functionality to additional parts of the website.
3) Connect Your Retail Partners and Supporter through a mobile app
Red Cross recently launched an app to do just that while increasing blood donations using an application platform called WeWIN. The WeWIN Platform provides a platform that easily integrates with apps and allows for supporters to earn rewards for doing well.
