NPCA Website Focuses on User Experience

National Parks Conservation Association (NPCA) partnered with Charity Dynamics to create a crisp new site that brought their mission back into focus.  Overtime, their previous site became cluttered, difficult to navigate and lacked content that focused on their audience.  Charity Dynamics embraced the challenge to create a site that engaged visitors while communicating NPCA’s mission. Take a look!

Beyond Breathtaking Imagery
There is no doubt the new NPCA site is captivating with stunning photography and modern design features but what lies beneath is even more compelling – a complete redesign of the CMS back-end.  We revamped the site architecture, created multiple custom layouts and a modular sidebar to make it easy for NPCA to keep their content fresh and relevant.

No Trail Guide Needed
Visitors can now enjoy the NPCA site on their own without the risk of getting lost.  Charity Dynamics integrated new tools to make exploring interactive and easy.

  • Google Maps – Includes a clickable map and search functionality to find detailed information on all National Parks.

  • Slideshow – Visitors can explore the parks through striking photography that is easy to view on any platform and easy for NPCA to manage.

  • Online Magazine – On the go and forgot the National Parks Magazine? No worries. Now fully integrated into their site, visitors can peruse the latest issue or visit back issues all the way back to 2008.

Inspired to Act
All the beauty and functionality of the site was created to inspire visitors to take the next step, get involved!  Whether donating, advocating, visiting or simply spreading the NPCA message to friends, the site makes it easy.

  • Social Media Integration - Like, Follow, Share from every page.  Visitors are encouraged to show their support and enthusiasm for NPCA with their friends, family, or anyone that will listen!

  • Share Your Story – Shout it from the top of Half Dome but more people are likely to hear if a story is shared on the NPCA site.  This feature makes the parks personal, inspiring others to support the NPCA mission.

  • Customized Action Center – Site members can log in and keep track of all the important action alerts they have taken, manage their donations and profile as well as keep up to date on the impact NPCA is making with all of our amazing parks.

 And There’s More
We can’t fit all the exciting new features into this page so we encourage you to explore the site for yourself!  Hike on over to www.npca.org and check it out.
